GB-Colchester: Redevelopment of Old Police Station

Expressions of interest are requested from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of the following building and mechanical and electrical works to the value of c£2.8m split over two phases and will cover:

1. Demolition of conservatory and internal partitions, (2) Stripping out of redundant services, fixtures and fittings, (3) Replacement and insulation of roofs, (4) Replacement windows and doors, (5) Creation of approximately 40 Creative Business Studios including building new partitions, making good existing walls, floors and ceilings and complete redecoration throughout, (5) Creation of new café/multi-use area on ground floor, (6) Provision of new WCs and health and welfare facilities, (7) Provision of new heating system, (8) Electrical rewire including replacement of existing fire alarm, (9) Data and communications cabling, (10) Provision of 2no. platform lifts and (11) External groundwork and landscaping
