Alternative Provider of Medical Services (APMS) at Randolph and Soho Square GP Surgeries

This procurement consists of two Lots as shown below. The values shown in Section 2 above represent the combined value for both Lots for the initial 5 year terms and the potential maximum 15 year term.

Bidders may bid for either one, or both, Lots and the individual values of each Lot are shown below.

Both sites are located in the London Borough of Westminster City Council and are part of NHS Central London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)

• a)Randolph Surgery, 235a Elgin Avenue, London W9 1NH. The current service to provide general practice medical services at the surgery expires 31st March 2020. The practice has a weighted patient list size of 7816 as of 1st July 2019 and an annual value of £759,630. The CCG now wishes to appoint a suitable organisation to provide general practice medical services at Randolph Surgery from 1st April 2020 for a period of 5 years (approximate contract value £3,798,151), with the option of an extension of up to a further 10 years (under a 5 + 5 year arrangement), for a maximum contract term of 15 years with an approximate contract value of £11,394,454.

• b)Soho Square General Practice, 1 Firth Street, London . The current service to provide general practice medical services expires 31st March 2020. The practice has a weighted patient list size of 4101 as of 1st July 2019 and an annual value of £399,163. The CCG now wishes to appoint a suitable organisation to provide general practice medical services at Soho Square General Practice from 1st April 2020 for a period of 5 years (approximate contract value £1,995,818), with the option of an extension of up to a further 10 years (under a 5 + 5 year arrangement), subject to agreement by CEG, for a maximum contract term of 15 years with an approximate potential value of £5,987,453.

At both sites it is anticipated, that the existing premises will be made available for immediate use by a replacement provider organisation, and it understood to be an existing workforce with TUPE entitlement and transfer interest. A Bidder Briefing event will be held on 8th October 2019 to provide interested parties with further information regarding this opportunity.
