In April 2015 Walsall established the Edge of Care team, a co-located multi-disciplinary team which aims to reduce Looked After Children in our Borough. A high number of the cases we are supporting have presenting needs regarding both parental and young people substance misuse and identified barriers in accessing existing provision resulting in preventing the families from moving forward positively and in a timely way.
Therefore we are inviting providers to quote on the delivery of a targeted substance misuse service to be co-located within the Edge of Care team for an initial period of 1st July 2015 till the 31st March 2016.
