Rugby GP Out of Hours Provision – NHS Coventry and Rugby CCG

This is a Prior Information Notice published by NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS Coventry and Rugby Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG).

NHS Coventry and Rugby CCG are in the process of developing an Out of Hospital Integrated Urgent Care Model of Care for Coventry and Rugby, and expressions of interest are invited for the provision of GP Out of Hours Services for the Rugby population only, for an interim period whilst this work is completed.

The contract will be let for a contract term of 11 months with the option to extend up to a maximum of 6 months if required by the CCG. Services to commence 1st November 2016.

Estimated budget is £690,000 for 11 months.

The CCG would like to assess current market appetite to provide this service. The market response to this advert will determine the next steps. The CCG intends to use a Most Capable Provider Assessment subject to receipt of no more than 2 Expressions of Interest from the market.
