A Contract for the purchase of a National Calculation Methodology (NCM) software validation service of third-party software.

The Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government, herein referred to as "The Authority", has directly awarded a contract for professional software validation services of 3rd party commercial software applications for the purpose of undertaking Building Regulation (Part L) compliance assessments and in the production of non-domestic "energy certificates" or Air Conditioning Inspection Reports (ACIRs) for systems.

The contract is to procure technical support to maintain a testing and validation service for third-party software applications and interfaces, to ensure they operate in a manner and to a standard consistent with the National Calculation Methodology (NCM) or, in the case of Air Conditioning Inspection Reports (ACIRs), in accordance with published guidance.
