THE PROCUREMENT DOCUMENTS BELOW ARE READ ONLY. DO NOT USE TO COMPLETE AND SUBMIT A TENDER. APPLICANTS MUST REGISTER AN INTEREST TO ACCESS THE PROCUREMENT DOCUMENTS TO COMPLETE AND SUBMIT. ONLY APPLICANTS WHO HAVE REGISTERED AN INTEREST WILL RECEIVE UPDATE NOTIFICATIONS AS TO PROGRESS OF THE PROCUREMENT, RESPONSES TO CLARIFICATION QUESTIONS AND ANY OTHER INFORMATION PERTINENT TO THIS OPPORTUNITY. The contract shall be for the delivery of a service with the primary focus to support people rough sleeping in the Locality Area of Exeter, Teignbridge and East Devon to move off the streets as quickly as possible and into appropriate accommodation. The service will also have a clear remit with those engaged in begging and other street based activity in the urban centres and work with partners to reduce anti social behaviour throughout the locality. The successful provider shall engage with the Locality Authorities and work in partnership to deliver strategic approach in tackling Homelessness and Rough Sleeping and to assist in the development and delivery of Local Authorities Homelessness Strategies within the first six months of the contract and to work across the Locality area to reduce the movement of rough sleepers towards urban centres through the development of localised solutions for accessing support and accommodation. The provider shall be based at Watt Tyler House as a key integrated service at the Exeter Engage HUB and work closely with other Hub arrangements, in conjunction with the CRC, across the Locality Area. It is intended that any resultant Contract shall commence on 01/10/2015 (though the Authority reserves the right to vary this date as it sees fit) and be confirmed via receipt of a formal letter of contract award. The Contract period will be up to a period of two (2) years 6 months subject to termination clauses contained with the Contract terms and conditions.
