The Fire Detection Systems works at these 10no Sites broadly comprises of installing Fire Detection Systems providing LD2 protection to communal areas with the extension of heat detectors into flats adjacent to their Front Entrance doors. Within each dwelling additional interlinked Heat Detectors in kitchen and smoke detectors in Hallway are to be fitted but not connected to Communal Fire Detection System.
The works include, but not limited to the design, supply, installation, commissioning and hand-over of a complete Fire Detection Systems to each site, integrated and operating with the existing warden call (If Present) and provision of O&M Manuals and training to the Council's representative in charge of the block.
