description
The Council are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to provide services for the provision of Children's Centres Services. The service provision will be divided into 2 lots. Organisations can tender for one or both lots. Lot 1 will include providing access to early childhood services (ECS) for families with children under 5, through the delivery of a network of 3 children's centres in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Lot 2 will include providing access to early childhood services (ECS) for families with children under 5, through the delivery of a network of 25 children's centres across communities in Buckinghamshire. This lot will include the provision a County Wide Targeted Short Breaks Service for Disabled Children aged 0 - 6 years and their Families, which support children and families to achieve better outcomes and greater family resilience. The Provider is required to provide universal and targeted Early Help to children and their families from pre-birth to five. When there are older siblings in the family the Provider should ensure that they have access to appropriate services. The Council is looking for a Provider that takes an innovative and creative approach to the delivery of its children's centres programme. The Provider will need to be prepared to work with the Council and its partners to continually adapt to meet the needs of families in Buckinghamshire and to respond to changes in government policy and service re-design. It is important that the Provider takes a dynamic and proactive approach to forming professional relationships with other managers and practitioners in the early childhood services sector, in order to troubleshoot and overcome challenges together. The contract will be awarded initially for 4 years and 7 months with a possibility to extend for a further three years, depending on performance and availability of funding. Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) may apply to this contract.
