description
The Big Lottery Fund in England has launched a new grant programme called Building Better Opportunities (BBO). This is a joint programme of European funding (European Social Fund) and our lottery money. The investment is focussing on supporting people into employment. We want to support all applicants to Building Better Opportunities with good practice information about how to help people into employment. We believe that information already exists, but is not easily accessible. We want this brought together into a single, engaging, plain English resource for BBO applicants.
The Fund is seeking a service provider that will provide a practical good practice guide to supporting people into employment. The good practice guide will support all applicants equally in the design of their bids to BBO. We believe that without such a guide, there is a higher risk of lower quality applications being submitted to BBO, and therefore the programme as a whole being less impactful. We do not want the guide to be prescriptive in tone, i.e setting out a ‘template’ for applicants to follow. Instead, we want a guide that clearly sets out in one place what good practice is already available against a set of themes.
Further details are set out in the attached ITT.
The estimated contract term is for up to 1 year and 3 months starting from the end of July 2015. The total costs for all services over the term of the contract shall not exceed £33,000 inclusive VAT and expenses.
