description
This bidding opportunity is for undertaking inspection, testing & repair works to concrete and masonry structures (structural and non-structural); including residential tower blocks and other residential buildings, council buildings, schools, commercial and industrial buildings and other structures owned and/or managed by Southampton City Council. The scope of work to be covered by this contract expands on that of the previous contract by including:-
- concrete repairs & surface (eg. walkway) treatments;
- masonry repairs;
- movement joint repairs (inc. resealing);
- site investigations (inc. concrete testing & soil testing);
- repairs to concrete floors and roofs;
- underpinning works;
- repairs to retaining walls;
- repairs to sea defences;
- and any other similar general concrete/masonry defect repairs.
