Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (Arden & GEM CSU), on behalf of the NHS England - Health and Justice Team and HMP Ranby (the commissioners) would like to notify all potential bidders about 'Site visit' which has been planned to take place on Wednesday 09 August 2017.
This event has been arranged in connection with the forthcoming procurement of integrated offender healthcare services at Her Majesty's Prison (HMP) Ranby. It will provide potential bidders with an opportunity to visit the site where procured service needs to be provided from.

Site visit for HMP Ranby, Retford, Nottingham, DN22 8EU:
# Wednesday 09th August 2017 - Meet at the gate at HMP Ranby, undertake security checks - 09.45am prompt # 'Prisoner Journey' tour, followed by walkthrough of healthcare and related facilities - 10.00am # Leave HMP Ranby - 11.15am prompt
# There is no restriction on a number of people per organisation who can attend this site visit; however the bidders are highly encouraged to bring sensible number of attendees to include their operational as well as management staff on the day.
# On the day, Questions and Answers (Q&A) will only be permitted on the building and environment related subjects. An opportunity will be provided to all bidders for asking the service or procurement specific questions during the clarification stage, once the tender has been published. # Last minute changes of attendee names will not be accepted. # Visitors must abide by the "Controlled Articles" protocol. Banned items include though are not limited to electrical devices including mobile phones, laptops, any metal objects, medication and chewing gum. # The prison gate has lockers for the safe storage of personal items/valuables.
# Visitors must have photo ID; passport or driving license.
NOTE:
An attendance at this event will not automatically entitle your involvement in any future procurement exercise. Any procurement conducted in connection with this event will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it is published.
