A47 North Tuddenham to Easton Scheme

Galliford Try, as one of the East Region Delivery Integration Partners, is delivering the A47 North Tuddenham to Easton project in the County of Norfolk on behalf of National Highways. This project, which is part of major improvements to the existing A47, replaces the existing single carriageways between North Tuddenham and Easton with a dual carriageway, linking the existing dual carriageway at North Tuddenham to the Southern Norwich Bypass at Easton. The route is offline and crosses the existing A47 at three separate locations.

Notice to Proceed is expected to be received in October 2023 with Open for Traffic by April 2026.

Outline Scope of Works

Galliford try is looking for Contractors to provide Provision of Portable Variable Message signs (pVMS) for the construction of the A47 North Tuddenham to Easton Dual Carriageway. Including, but not limited to, installation, maintenance, relocation and removal of pVMS, provision of journey time monitoring and display of information, speed detection / slow down signs. PVMS are to be provided in accordance with Traffic Signs Manual Chapter 8, Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions and National Highways Raising the Bar.

Programme

Anticipated Programme information will be provided in the Invitation to Tender documentation sent to the shortlisted Contractors.

Deadline for Notifications of Interest 16:00 hrs on 4th August 2023

Galliford Try Procurement Process

To secure work with Galliford Try, a supplier will need to pass the PAS91 onboarding process administered through Builders Profile. Details will be shared with shortlisted Subcontractors.
