HMP Woodhill Market Engagement

The current services at HMP Woodhill include a full primary care service to include Dentistry, Optician, Podiatry and Physiotherapy. It also comprises of a full mental health service to include Primary and Secondary care mental health provision and an integrated Substance misuse service.

There is also a small forensic mental health service that works within the Close Supervision Centre based at HMP Woodhill which will form part of this procurement. It is intended that this will be a three year contract with the option to extend for a further two years.

NHS England is intending to commission a healthcare provider to carry out integrated

healthcare services for HMP Woodhill.

This Prior Information Notice is to inform potential

bidders of a market engagement event to be held on the 9th June. NHS England is looking to carry out a procurement process for a 5 year contract for this service. The current budget

is around £6.5 million per annum, but this will reduce when HMP Woodhill changes to a Category B Prison. If you wish to attend the Market Engagement Event on the 9th June, please complete the PQQ to register your attendees. This will be a maximum of 2 attendees per organisation.
