Defra Noise Modelling Design and Build Stage 1 Stage 2a

Defra have developed and awarded a single supplier framework for the provision of Noise Modelling Design and Build to deliver on its legal regularity requirement to comply with the Environmental Noise (England) Regulations 2006. Defra must now commence the first stage of noise mapping and action planning for major sources of road, rail and aviation noise and noise in large urban areas, this is done on a five-yearly cycle.

The procurement strategy to deliver this work is via a Defra framework that was developed for the specific purpose of delivering this requirement. The Defra single supplier framework for Noise Modelling Design and Build was awarded on 1st February 2021.

This Call-Off from the framework for stage 1 and stage 2a of 4 stages shown below. Completion of the fourth phase must be met by 2022.
