Marquee and Temporary Structures Maintenance

Portsmouth City Council ('the Council') is inviting quotations from suitably qualified suppliers to provide maintenance services for existing and future marquees and temporary structures owned by Portsmouth City Council.

At the present time this consists of:

• oThe Southsea Castle marquee
• oA new temporary structure (Stretch tent or similar) at Portsmouth Museum and Art Gallery to be installed in the near future.

The initial contract term will be for 3 years with possibility of extending the term by a further 2 years to a maximum total term of 5 years in increments to be agreed, subject to the agreement and performance of both parties.

The estimated total value of the contract based on the two structures currently identified is between ?15,000-?25,000 (i.e., ?3,000 -?5,000 per annum).

Procurement timetable is shown below and while the Council does not intend to depart from it, it reserves the right to do so at any time:

Quotation return deadline Friday 29/04/2022 at noon

Evaluation of quotations completed Friday 06/05/2022

Award decision notified to bidders Friday 13/05/2022

Contract award Friday 13/05/2022

Start of contract 01/06/2022
