Newham Extra Care Commissioning Proposals - Providers Market Day Event

Further to the Market Position Statement for Extra Care Housing Provision in Newham, which summarises Newham's commitment to re-model the current Extra Care offer, (https://adultsocialcare.newham.gov.uk/Pages/Market_position_statement.aspx) we are pleased to advise that the commissioning plan is now underway.

As you may be aware, a Prior Information Notice (PIN) was published on Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) which sought initial expressions of interest for care and support services in extra care housing. The deadline to respond to that PIN has now expired, however, the notice can be found on this link: http://ted.europa.eu/TED/notice/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:461490-2017:TEXT:EN:HTML. Thanks for those who were able to respond to the questionnaire, a further opportunity to input into this process is now offered.

An open Market Day Event on Wednesday 31st January 2018 at 2pm at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road, London E16 2QU in Room W2.06 has been set up.

At the Market Day event we will be able to discuss the new model, the procurement process, proposed timetable and we will be able to answer any questions you may have as potential extra care service providers. We will also be inviting extra care scheme landlords to sit on a panel to give you the opportunity to hear about the schemes and ask them questions. They will detail:
