description

In the event of a 'no deal', hauliers will require additional documentation to cross the EU border. Businesses would have to apply the same customs and excise rules to goods moving between the UK and the EU as currently applied where goods move between the UK and the rest of the world. With these changes at border controls there is a risk of significant queues at the Port of Dover and Eurotunnel.

This contract is for the provision of a focused resource of 3 individuals to coordinate with HE to set up back up service provision to enable service provision within 12 hours, including identifying appropriate resource, liaise with HE to keep up to date with deployment strategy/process/requirements.
