Escalation Care Services

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust (the 'Trust') invite Providers to apply for the provision of a domiciliary Escalation Care service in Torbay. This Escalation Care Service (ECS) is a 7-days a week service to prevent delayed transfers of care from hospital setting, meet the increasing need in the community, and to avoid unnecessary admissions by providing rapid care and support which promotes independence and enables clients to live as independently as possible in their own homes with the right support.

The Trust recognises that recruitment and retention is difficult in the current circumstance and therefore has divided its requirements up into the following three (3) lots:

Lot 1 - starting with 200 (block) hours per week, contract period = 1yr + 1yr + 1yr

Lot 2 - starting with 200 (block) hours per week, contract period = 6m + 6m + 6m

Lot 3 - starting with 150 (block) hours per week, contract period = 6m + 6m

This procurement is under the 'Light Touch' provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (Chapter 3, Section 7 - Social and Other Specific Services).

To note that the advertised length of contract represents the maximum possible period including extensions subject to performance.
