ADVERT
Southampton City Council and Portsmouth City Council Commissioners have approval to commission A Health and Social Care Related Equipment Store to provide the delivery of health and social care equipment to people living in their own homes as well as providing short term loans of equipment to residential and nursing homes to facilitate timely hospital discharge.
Some elements of this service delivery include:-
| • | Procurement of paediatric and adult equipment conforming to CE standards; |
| • | Delivery and installation of equipment using qualified technicians; |
| • | Provision of responsive and value for money community equipment service to support the health and social care need of people in Southampton; |
| • | Provision of equipment training; |
| • | Repair, adjustment and maintenance of core and bespoke paediatric and adult equipment; |
| • | Undertaking the decontamination of equipment; |
Reconditioning and re issuing or disposing of core and bespoke adult and paediatric equipment.

The purpose of the event is to discuss the structure of the proposed services design and explain the procurement process. There will be an opportunity for potential providers to ask some questions and the procurement representative will explain the tender portal and the clarification process within this.
