The Stanmore Surgery Caretaking Service

We would like to inform you that the contract to provide primary medical services at The Stanmore Surgery, 71 Elm Park, Stanmore, HA7 4AU, will come to an end on 30th September 2017.

On 24th July 2017 NHS England wrote to patients informing them that the list is being dispersed and that they should register with an alternative local practice of their choice.

As with any practice closure, there is likely to be a number of clinical and administrative tasks that will need to be undertaken after the practice has closed. We therefore need to put in place a temporary 'caretaking service' so that these tasks can be actioned accordingly and to ensure that any potential areas of clinical risk are identified and acted upon appropriately.

The 'caretaking service' will commence on Monday 2nd October 2017 and will be for a period of 4 weeks, with provision to extend for a further 2 weeks with the agreement of both parties on such terms and conditions as agreed between the parties at the time.

We are inviting expressions of interest from a range of primary care providers to perform this service.

If interested, please register your 'Expression of Interest' to england.lon-nw-pcc@nhs.net by 12:00 noon Thursday 27th July 2017. The relevant documents will be emailed out to you upon receipt of expression of interest. Exact contractual and financial matters will be discussed at the selection stage.

Bidders that have not expressed an interest by the deadline will not be considered.
