The design, supply, installation of a Physical Prevention of Over-speeding System to the London Trams numbering 35 trams. The system to be supplied must bring the trams to a full service brake stop and have a minimum Safety Integrity Level (SIL) of 2. The system is being installed to prevent trams from over-speeding in high risk locations on the tram infrastructure.
