1844/357/EML/CTI/17 100kg Induction Furnace

The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre's Casting Group, Catcliffe , Rotherham.

The requirement is for a 100kg Induction furnace, which has the ability to melt between 50kg and 110kg of ferrous and copper based alloys with a maximum individual pour of 110kg (Steel density at liquid metal density of 7.2g/cc).The equipment supplied must be designed to be as economical to run as possible.
