: The Department intends to reform the learning and development and assessment requirements stipulated by the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework, with national implementation anticipated in September 2021. The Contractor will be responsible for developing a programme to support the early years workforce (reception teachers, nursery practitioners, school and PVI leadership, childminders), as well as early years training providers, in preparing for, implementing and embedding the reforms, which might include but is not limited to:

Additional information: The Department will hold a supplier engagement day on 2 July 2019 in London - see details below. The purpose of the day is to allow potential providers to provide feedback on the Department's requirements and to inform the Department's approach to market.
