100-0323T Arable Data Integrator System

AEC is seeking a system to enable integration of data from various arable related data sources. A function of AEC is to collect data from a wide variety of sensors, Farm Management Information Systems (FMIS) and other sources spread throughout a national network of associated farms. This data is then used for research and development of agricultural technology, as a source of data for design, implementation, and testing. The collection and storage are currently achieved manually and is subject to data loss, slow data collection and poor quality. The intention of AEC is to automate this ETL process and then to expand upon the capabilities that provides. The arable data integrator we are looking for will create a single access point for AEC to access data from its farm network, whilst also providing that farm network with the data analytics and information creation necessary to support farming decision making.

No Bidder is permitted to contact any Authority staff member whatsoever, during this procurement exercise, as to do so will render any Bid from a Bidder whom contravenes this instruction to automatically exclude themselves from the ITT opportunity at the discretion of the Authority.

Any queries arising from this document, and/or for further clarification, Bidders must only use the Q&A protocol at the electronic address stated in the link within this contract notice no later than noon 6th March 2023 - as beyond this date and time no further clarification questions will be answered.

We reserve the right to refuse to respond to any clarification questions if they are deemed to be seeking to gain commercial advantage/confidential information/unfair advantage against the other bidders, and additionally we may reject any offer submitted as a result of such infringement.

The Authority may at its discretion communicate any questions and/or requests for information together with the Authority's response to all Bidders.
