Bolton Sixth Form College ~ Tender for Catering Services.

The successful Supplier will be required to provide catering services for Bolton Sixth Form College.

Bolton Sixth Form College is the only specialist sixth form college in the town of Bolton. With a state-of-the-art town centre campus it is 1 of the highest performing colleges in the North West of England.

Catering for approx. 1 400 students, the college has a ground floor coffee shop and a 4th floor restaurant / student social area.

The Client is keen to ensure that students and staff are encouraged to use the on-site catering facilities and that the food offer is enticing and appropriate to the student and staff population whilst offering best value for money to the college itself.

The Client is seeking a Supplier to manage its catering facilities who has the relevant experience and expertise in the sector and the drive and innovation to maximise the potential of the catering service.

In addition to provision in the coffee shop and restaurant there is the requirement for occasional hospitality including tea and coffee trays, buffets and working lunches.

The contract will commence 21.8.2017 for an initial period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years.

The contract value (over the initial 3 years of the contract) is approximately 400 000 GBP.

It will be the Supplier's responsibility to obtain any necessary documents in order to submit a response by the closing date and time.

The contracting authority reserves the right not to award any or part of the contract which is the subject of this Contract Notice and reserves the right to terminate the procurement process at any time.

The contracting authority will not be liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in tendering for this contract opportunity.

The contracting authority will consider variant bids, evaluating them (so far as the variant or the evaluation of the variant is in the opinion of the contracting authority practicable) on the same basis as a conforming bid, but shall not be obliged to accept any such bid in preference to a conforming bid even if the variant bid scores more highly. No variant will be considered unless the bidder simultaneously submits a conforming bid.
