description
Landex and 15 of our members are pleased to invite tenders for the services required for the delivery of a Department for Education Flexible Learning Fund Pilot.
A technology partner is sought to support subject matter experts in the digital authoring of existing subject content to produce two flexible online courses.
The selected partner will be able to demonstrate the vision and flare for start to finish production and innovate approaches to designing engaging learning materials.
Working collaboratively with the appropriate awarding body representative, project lead, and course development steering group. Your digital expertise will shape and mould the design of two programmes for final delivery by 31st March 2019.
There is 165,000GBP funding available to enable you to conduct testing and research into creating materials that deliver the content as per the course specification - using the latest digital pedagogical techniques to produce a new way for learners to complete their desired qualification.
Materials will be hosted on a Moodle Platform; the successful partner should have expertise in the design of materials and courses on Moodle or similar Learner Management Systems. Knowledge of online enrolment processes and user data capture will also be a distinct advantage.
Details of the two qualifications for which we require materials development are listed below.
- City & Guilds - Level 2 Certificate of Competence in the Safe and Responsible Use of Vete...HS Level 3 Certificate in Practical Horticulture
Purpose of this qualification
The Level 3 Certificate in Practical Horticulture focuses on developing the essential basic horticultural skills. These not only offer opportunities for employment but provide the foundation for further skills development at levels 2 and 3. By carefully focusing on key essential skills, it has been possible to develop a practical qualification that can be studied on a part-time basis, either during the day or in the evening. RHS theoretical and practical qualifications are offered separately to provide maximum flexibility to candidates, providers and employers.
Learners must achieve the four mandatory units and one of the optional units. Please see the qualification specification for the module content of the units.
