Historic England's Geospatial Survey Team invites bids for a mobile laser scanner (NOT vehicle mounted).

Essential characteristics of the equipment:

Real-time scan visualisation (built-in or via tablet/phone)

More than one lidar unit

Access to/provision of appropriate processing software and/or cloud processing capability

Direct measurement of coordinated Control Points (used to minimise SLAM drift error)

Collision avoidance warning system (if applicable)

Integrated multi-camera system for colourisation of point clouds and 360 degree visualisation image capture

Outdoor and indoor use

Automatic/semi-automatic dynamic object removal

Absolute accuracy (after CP optimisation) of approx.. 6mm (1σ) indoors, 10mm (1σ) outdoors

Working range up to 100m

Data acquisition rate over 500,000 points/s

Weight under 10kg

Transport case

At least 12 months warranty
