The Independent Review of Children's Social Care is committed to ensuring that the voices and experiences of those with lived experience of children's social care are central to the review and the recommendations. As a result, the review team are ensuring that the engagement activities of the review are broad and comprehensive and provides a safe space to hear from as many children, young people, adults, and families as possible.
The review team have decided that the format of Open Space Technology events will provide a unique opportunity for those with lived experience to lead discussions on a broad range of issues that affect them in direct response to case for change publication.
The Contractor has agreed to co-design and deliver a series of events to gather the views and contributions of those with lived experience of children's social care and other stakeholders in partnership with and on behalf of the Independent Review of Children's Social Care.
This contract commenced on the 21st June 2021 and is due to end on the 31st October. The date in which the contract was signed was the 12th August 2021. The first event did not take place until the 26th August (after the contract was signed).
