Social Worker
Rate of Pay: £32.00 Per hour (for 3 months only)
Hours: 37 hours per week, you are required to work the core hours of the business, Monday to Thursday 9.00-5.30 pm and Fridays 9.00-5.00pm.

Brief description:
We are looking for a full time Agency Social Worker to work across Adults Social Care with more than 2 years post qualifying experience.
The social workers will be deployed across the 6 community social work teams and must be able to hit the ground running. The service aims to improve the outcomes of residents in Sandwell by;
- Enabling/facilitating timely discharges from hospital
- Monitoring and facilitating timely discharges from intermediate care provisions
- Offering alternatives to hospital admissions
- Supporting people to return to independent living.
- Complete work in a timely manner/& adhere to deadline, timescales and Sandwell Policies and Procedures
You will be required to work as part of a team and deliver an enhanced customer experience that promotes the wellbeing of vulnerable adults to enable them to live in their own homes independently for longer, supporting them in retaining and regaining their skills and confidence. You will need to be social work qualified and hold either the degree in social work, Dip SW, CQSW or equivalent and be registered with Social Work England.
An Enhanced DBS will be required for these posts. Hours 37 hours per week and required to work the core hours of the business, Monday to Thursday 9.00-5.30 pm and Fridays 9.00-5.00pm.
The location is currently home-based working; however, you will be required to complete some home/community visits in Sandwell following a dynamic risk assessment of the needs of the visit.
Access to own lap top and mobile phone would be beneficial and candidates need to be readily available to start. Please see JD and PS attached.
This role also requires the worker to enter a CQC regulated setting, therefore proof of the Covid 19 Vaccine will be required.
