description
NTU Sport is looking to provide support to our performance athletes with a comprehensive strength and conditioning programme, providing support to 10 (number subject to change) performance and transition squads as well as a range of individual athletes who represent the university in BUCS competitions.
The programme will run on a yearly basis, from approximately a month before the beginning of term (approximately late August) until the end of term 3 (approximately mid June), and will be based predominately at Lee Westwood Sports Centre but may also require delivery off site at venues including (but not exclusively), NTU City Sports Centre, University of Nottingham sports facilities and Lady Bay Sports Ground, Nottingham.
The coaches will be required to have a flexible approach work, delivering across the facility opening hours, which are currently 7am – 10.30pm Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm Saturday’s and 9am – 9pm Sunday’s. Early morning, evening and weekend work should be expected, as well as delivery being more substantial during university term time.
Coaches will be required to integrate fully within the NTU Sport team, including spending time in the main sports office and wearing NTU Sport staff uniform.
