BBV HS2 MWCC North - Hydraulically Adjustable 4 axle Semi Trailer for Plant Movements

Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV) have been awarded HS2 main works civils contracts for the Area North project in the West Midlands.

We are looking to engage with both trailer manufacturers for new units and the second-hand market who can offer used Hydraulically adjustable trailers.

The minimum specification must meet the below requirements:

•Hydraulically adjustable width between STGO / C&U

•4 axle Semi Trailer with payload of 45t (please also get quotes for a 5 axle - 60t payload) •FORS silver spec (360 Camera)

•Fully compliant lighting and beacons

•Rear steering capability.

•STGO marker boards

The requirement is for one unit currently (subject to change).

Note for the second-hand market audience, only authorised dealers i.e., approved by the OEM will be considered.

Successfully shortlisted supplier's will be those with verifiable experience, and the appropriate capacity ,resources and technical ability to deliver the scope of works. Supplier's may then be invited to the project, to formally demonstrate their experience and capabilities. As an alternative phone/webinar interviews may be conducted.

On selection, shortlisted supplier's will be issued with a formal pre-qualification and/or Invitation to Tender (ITT) to demonstrate their ability to work with these values and behaviours in mind, whilst proving their demonstration of capabilities and competence.
