description
Transport for London (TfL) seeks to obtain early market feedback in relation the potential procurement of an Active Intelligent Speed Assistance system that can be retrofitted to its commercial vehicle fleet. The primary focus is to better understand supplier capacity and capability, as well as perceived risks and opportunities. Our understanding of an active ISA system is one that can recognise the speed limit of a road using speed sign-recognition camera and/or GPS-linked speed limit data and restrict vehicle speed accordingly by limiting engine power.
This advertisement is issued solely for the purposes of the market engagement. Any possible future procurement of any services, supplies or works by TfL would be carried out strictly in accordance with any relevant obligations under the Utilities Contract Regulations 2016.
