Provision of Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) at Sutherland Lodge Surgery, Chelmsford Essex

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS Arden & GEM CSU) on behalf of NHS England Midlands and East (East) (referred to as the Commissioner) are inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to bid via an open tender process the provision for Primary Medical GP Services for Sutherland Lodge Surgery located at 115 Baddow Road, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 7PY.

The new contract is scheduled to commence from the 1st July 2016 for a contract period of 10 years with the option to extend for up to a further 5 years.

The key objective of this procurement is to commission an able provider through the most current NHS England Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) contract. These services must be provided by GPs and nurses and the Provider/s will be expected to:

• deliver primary care services which will be safe, accessible, convenient and responsive
• design services around the needs of patients and carers, ensuring they are offered more choice and a greater say in their treatment
• have processes in place to evaluate and continually improve on patient satisfaction
• have processes in place to engage effectively with the local communities
• participate in Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF)
• provide the range of Enhanced Services, remunerated in line with the relevant Directions and specified by the commissioner on an annual basis.

• Click on the relevant ITT (itt_412) to access the content.
• Click the ‘Express Interest' button at the top of the page.
• This will move the ITT into your ‘My ITTs' page. (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only)
• You can now access any attachments by clicking ‘Buyer Attachments' in the ‘ITT Details' box 3. Responding to the tender
• Click ‘My Response' under ‘ITT Details', you can choose to ‘Create Response' or to ‘Decline to Respond' (please give a reason if declining)
• You can now use the ‘Messages' function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification
