Specifically, the aims of the Provider are to:
| • | showcase Grimsby's relationship with the Sea with a particular focus on seafood |
| • | be a great family day out |
| • | deliver content which showcases local skills and talents |
| • | deliver a market selling food, drinks and crafts from primarily local providers |
| • | bring businesses, educational establishments, community groups, heritage experts, creative individuals and arts organisations together |
| • | encourage people and organisations to find creative ways to highlight Grimsby's seafood in an innovative and exciting way that appeals to both local and national audiences. |
| • | develop national and international links connecting Grimsby's creativity with other places |
| • | secure funding to deliver the festival via a newly established fundraising strategy |
