GB-London: Learning from local economic recovery

LGA wishes to commission a package of good practice support and learning for local authorities on local economic recovery. Councils have a strong interest and significant role to play in helping their local economies to recover. The impact of the COVID 19 pandemic and associated restrictions on society and local economies is expected to be severe and has yet to be fully felt. With winter approaching and the prospect of further restrictions on public gatherings and hospitality businesses at a local level, this will be a challenging time for councils in managing their immediate priorities together with undertaking some forward planning and thinking for supporting local economic recovery. The outputs from this work should help in reducing the need for councils to undertake their own research and help ensure that their plans learn from the experiences of others. Suppliers with a strong track record of working with councils on such issues are invited to bid.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
