description
The Rough Sleepers Outreach and Enablement Service will work to drive rough sleeping in Nottingham City down to a minimum through targeted and personalised interventions to help support rough sleepers off the streets and back into accommodation. The service will work proactively to engage with rough sleepers and find solutions that will enable them to access accommodation and move away from the need to sleep rough again inthe future. The service will work consistently to keep rough sleepers engaged and to provide encouragement, assistance and support needed to overcome any barriers to recovering accommodation. The service will also play an important role in attending to the health and wellbeing of rough sleepers and minimising their risk of harm. This service will also be responsible for upholding Nottingham's commitment to No Second Night Out,ensuring that no one new to the streets has to sleep out for a second night.
