National Highways is looking to procure specialist technical consultancy services to support the continued development of motorway and strategic road operation.

The objectives of this task will be to:

-support our technical policy work to assess the feasibility of introducing the emergency corridor procedure, along with alternative options for facilitating emergency incident access.
-this will contribute to the delivery of action 5 from the Transport Select Committee (TSC) inquiry into smart motorways.
