REPLACEMENT ALL WEATHER PITCH AT SALWARPE VALLEY, DROITWICH

Wychavon District Council are seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced companies to tender for the replacement of an existing 97.44m x 60.90m (5934m2) all weather pitch at Droitwich Leisure Centre, Salwarpe Valley, Droitwich.

The existing ATP was originally installed in 1999 and the Council now wish to replace this playing surface.

The successful contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of the existing Thornton’s Stadium 25 sand filled synthetic playing surface, associated sand dressing and the shock pad, reinstatement of a new shock pad and a sand dressed playing surface, including all associated line marking for both the primary use (Hockey Club – playing up to West Midland division one level) and recreational level football.

The work is to be undertaken to current Sport England and England Hockey standards and completed for September 2015.

The conditions of contract will be the JCT Minor Works Building Contract with Contractor's Design 2011 (MWD)
