Berkshire West Physiotherapy Any Qualified Provider (“AQP”) Process

The NHS Berkshire West Clinical Commissioning Group Federation is considering commissioning Physiotherapy services through the use of an Any Qualified Provider (“AQP”) process. Specifically, The CCGs intend the services to include General Physiotherapy and Post-Operative Physiotherapy for Hip & Knee procedures.

The CCGs covered by this procurement exercise are: Newbury and District CCG, North & West Reading CCG, South Reading CCG, and Wokingham CCG.

Suppliers who are interested in learning more about this potential procurement exercise will have the opportunity to attend a Supplier Briefing Event to be held on 12.05.2015 in Reading prior to the commencement of any formal procurement process.

This will provide an opportunity for suppliers to gain an insight into the required services, the AQP process itself and raise specific questions. Note: Our expectation is that the contract length will be for an initial three years, with potential to extend beyond that. Full details will be provided in the Accreditation Document.
