Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (“OCCG”) is pleased to advise that space is available to rent at the brand new community health and social care centre located in the heart of Rose Hill, one of Oxford’s more deprived communities.
This flagship community centre has been developed and will be run by Oxford City Council, opening January 2016. It presents an exciting opportunity to co-locate community and health services that will address the health needs of the population of Rose Hill and Littlemore. OCCG are particularly interested in seeing health services delivered from the centre that will address the health inequalities experienced by this community and the wider determinants of health.
OCCG is inviting expressions of interest to provide services that are already funded (either through public funding or other sources), it is not requesting ideas for services that need to be commissioned or would need further funding.
The proposed health space comprises:
| • | Three consulting rooms at 15 sqm each |
| • | Treatment room at 25 sqm |
| • | Waiting area at 25 sqm |
| • | Group Knowledge / education / meeting room at 25 sqm |
| • | Associated utility areas i.e. clean and dirty; storage |
| • | Shared staffroom area |
| • | Easy access and parking available 7/7 |
| • | Community entrance with wide atrium of general public area and café |
| • | A map of the health space can be viewed in the attached document . |
| • | Site visits can be arranged on the following days: Wednesday 14.10.15, 21,10.15, 28.10.15 |
| o | Visits will commence at 12 noon as a group – please contact Rosie Rowe on rosie.rowe@oxfordshireccg.nhs.uk if you wish to attend, to enable site safety procedures to be followed. |
Health services providers will be encouraged to interface with other health services planned for the new centre, and more general services, including: Use of gym, dance / exercise room, training kitchen, youth club, community policing, benefits advice, café.
Expressions of Interest are welcomed from any provider currently contracting with OCCG for healthcare services, and need to be submitted ON THE ATTACHED FORM by 5pm 19th October 2015, specifying how much of the space will be utilised and frequency.
Proposals will be prioritised in relation to their potential impact on known local health needs.
