description
NHS Oldham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the next phase of its Dragons’ Den project for shortlisted applicants on 28th – 29th July 2015.
Following on from the success of the first phase, which has led to innovative ideas becoming a reality in primary and community care, we are inviting pharmaceutical companies to pitch their proposals for improving the care of the people of Oldham to our clinical panel.
As clinical commissioners, we adopt an innovation-based ethos into everything that we do, respecting the key aspects of innovation:
| • | Using local intelligence effectively, combined with broader partnerships, to help to translate great ideas into action and outcomes |
| • | Investing in good ideas |
| • | Nurturing trust and respect among partners whose interests align with ours |
| • | Drawing on the collective wisdom of experienced leaders across the health sector |
In an era that is dominated by concerns about rising demand, economic constraints and constant changes to our healthcare operating environment, we recognise that we have to offer improvements to our patients via different approaches and new ideas.
With this in mind, we are inviting ABPI-affiliated pharmaceutical companies and other interested parties to submit proposals to NHS Oldham CCG that will benefit patients by fulfilling the requirements of our Triple Aim by
| • | Improving the health of the people in Oldham |
| • | Improving the care they receive and their experience of it |
| • | Delivering the best value for money by using our resources effectively |
If you are interested in participating in this project, please register your interest with NHS Oldham CCG by e-mailing your contact details to oldccg.pmo@nhs.net or by accessing our application pack on the Contracts Finder website at https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk. The deadline for applications is 12.00 noon on Tuesday 30th June 2015.
We look forward to hearing from you!
