description

The Oil & Gas Authority (“OGA”) wishes to commission a project to undertake financial resilience modelling for UK Continental Shelf license holders and assets.

The purpose of this engagement is to build a tool that enables the OGA to better understand the financial health of the UKCS licensees and their capacity to withstand continued low oil and gas prices. The tool should also model the additional strain on Licensees from financial and physical interdependency, so as to enable the OGA to understand the impact of low Licensee resilience on its partners, assets and infrastructure. This tool will ensure that the OGA is fully informed of the consequences of its decisions, to be made in the interest of HMG, MER UK and all interested parties.
