description
Arts Council England is seeking a supplier to deliver an independent evaluation of the Cultural Development Fund Round 2 (CDF2) and provide detailed evidence of the outcomes and impacts of CDF2 projects, which will be used as supporting evidence for investment in future cultural development schemes. The Cultural Development Fund (CDF) is a DCMS fund administered by Arts Council England that aims to level up through investment in culture. A fund of £24m is available for Round 2 of CDF to support capital investment in transformative place-based creative and cultural initiatives. The aim of this evaluation is to identify the extent to which the expected outcomes and impacts of the successful projects have materialised. The evaluation should sit alongside the ongoing CDF1 evaluation and together the evaluations will provide a robust evidence base for future investment in place-based culture.
