Worcester City Council Cleaning Services Contract - Market Sounding Exercise

Worcester City Council is looking into the capability and availability of suitably qualified and experienced organisations to potentially provide all of our Corporate Cleaning Services at a number of sites within the City of Worcester.

To support this, we would like to gain information from the market regarding a number of matters. You are therefore invited to consider our Specification and complete a Market Sounding Questionnaire.

This Market Sounding Exercise (MSE) is not an invitation to tender or a request for formal expressions of interest. The Council, as contracting authority, is issuing this request for information only. It will be used in order to assess the reaction of the market and make any potential procurement process more focused and efficient.

Participating in this process will give Providers the opportunity to:

• gain a clear understanding of the Council's requirements
• raise any concerns
• better plan and prepare for the potential contract opportunity
• partner with others to provide the service

The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise. To gain access to the procurement documents, Contractors will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, contractors will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents. Contractors will need to search for the invitation under Worcester City Council and then electronically submit an expression of interest and follow the online instructions to view the procurement documents.
