Provision of an externally hosted systems solution delivered to web browsers, with remote access to hosting servers for data management purposes. 'Forester' GIS is an integrated platform for land management, and used by all public forestry bodies in GB. Forester provides the single spatial solution for multi-functional and dispersed teams to manage and collaborate on inventory and management data.

The contract covers

1.Continuation of our Business-as-Usual operation (including hosted infrastructure to run Forester as a Managed Service, Application support and maintenance, development services to provide extensions to existing functionality and integrations to 3rd party applications)
2.Discovery and Design of the future roadmap for Forester (review of the current design and deployment pattern for Forester against modern patterns, possibly involving a major re-write of application code and movement to new development frameworks)
3.Phased implementation of the Roadmap and transition of service arrangements.
