Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is considering options for providing a single-point of access Carer’s service. We are inviting stakeholders to a market engagement event to shape and inform the service model and service specification for the provision of Carer's services which are likely to include:

| • | Mental Health specific support |
| • | Young Adult Carers Support |
| • | Signposting and Referral |
This market engagement event is part of a wider engagement and consultation to inform the future service model:

| Venue: | Southend Association of Voluntary Services (SAVS) 29-31 Alexandra Street, Southend-on-Sea, SS1 1BW |
Session 1: 10:00am – 12:30pm
The first session will enable those stakeholders who attend to:
| • | Gain an insight into the current service provision to meet the needs of the population of carers in Southend-on-Sea; |
| • | Inform the service model and specification to provide a single-point of access Carer’s Service. |
This session is appropriate to Service Managers and staff that deliver Carer’s Information, advice and respite services.
Session 2: 1:15pm – 2:00pm
The second session will enable interested organisations to:
| • | Understand how the forthcoming tender process will be conducted; |
| • | Network with colleagues. |
This session is appropriate to Carer’s Information, Advice and Respite Service Managers and Business Managers responsible for submitting tender documentation.
Space will be limited with allocation to 2 people per organisation; bookings can be made up until 14th March 2016 by contacting:
