UK SBS PR18068 UK Space Conference 2019 (Concession Agreement)

UK Space Agency has a requirement to place a Concession Agreement for the 2019 UK Space Conference. This biennial event, which in 2017 attracted over 1200 delegates (and 550 to the Gala Dinner), plays a key role in aims to support growth in the sector by providing a forum for the UK space community to network, discuss issues and share opportunities. Please see the attachment entitled "UK Space Conference 2019 - Draft Specification" for more details about this requirement. Please note that this document is not a final specification document and will be finalised after the Supplier Engagement Day has taken place.

This Early Engagement Notice is being issued in order to undertake a pre-market engagement exercise and hold a Supplier Day prior to running a competition, in order to understand supplier positioning, concerns and views on formulation of the requirement and allow the suppliers to gain a better understanding of UKSA's requirements. This will allow UKSA to establish how many suppliers might be interested in bidding for this requirement which will help UKSA to decide on the most suitable approach and route to the market. UKSA considers inviting to the tender only suppliers that have registered their interest and confirmed bidding for this opportunity. However, the final approach is yet to be determined.

The estimated value of this procurement is £100K- £150K.

The supplier engagement day will be held on 13th April 2018, time to be confirmed at Polaris House, North Star Avenue, Swindon SN2 1FF. Once you have registered your interest we will confirm the date and time in case of any unforeseen changes. An agenda of the event will also be provided closer to the day.

UK Space Agency may consider information and responses received as part of the preliminary market consultation to help inform them of the possible options and further decision making in relation to the planning and conduct of the proposed procurement. For the avoidance of doubt, this notice is not a Call for Competition. Participation in the preliminary market consultation will be at each supplier's own cost.
