description

This project supports the community supervision delivery of probation services in line with the Probation Reform Programme, maximising the effectiveness of supervision. It supports efforts to engage families who are seen as a strength in reducing reoffending, utilises digital means to enhance supervision, contributes to aspects of intergenerational offending and adds to the evidence base for future practice policy.

We are interested in how involving families in the licence period can strengthen these ties further, reducing recall rates and improving the success rate on licence as well as creating opportunities to engage in employment, education and community activities.
