SCC WT Care Within the Home Services DPS

Surrey County Council (SCC) and the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) are re-tendering their existing Home Based Care (HBC) support services contract, enabling vulnerable individuals to continue to live independently in their own homes. The new contractual agreement will be the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).

The ambition of SCC and the CCGs is to work in partnership with providers to ensure the highest of quality care is delivered. The DPS has been developed in response to market pressures to guarantee a sufficient level of capacity, in a responsive and timely manner, whilst ensuring the quality of service is not affected by the increasing demand for domiciliary support services across Surrey. The DPS will offer providers the opportunity to work with SCC, the CCGs and support Commissioners (SCC & CCG) to overcome challenges. The DPS will commence on 1st October 2021 and will be in place for up to six years.
