519.CS.CYMRU.21 Industrial & Collaborative Robots
The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Castings Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire.
Scope of Requirement
AMRC Wales has a requirement for an industrial robot and a collaborative robot to support manufacturing research activities on hydrogen electric propulsion systems including fuel cells & electrolyser for our partners.
These devices will be located at our new Hydrogen electric propulsion system test bed, a new purpose built AMRC facility based inside AMRC Wales, Broughton, Flintshire, CH4 0DH.
LOT 1 Overview
The equipment's overview requirements are to supply, Install & commission an industrial robot with 150kg to 200kg payload capacity and latest version controller.
LOT 2 Overview
The equipment's overview requirements are to supply & commission and provide training for minimum 2 staff to operate a collaborative 7 axis robot with minimum 14kg payload and latest version controller. In lot 2, the AMRC is prepared to consider refurbished or ex demo robots, which meets all technical, commissioning and warranty items specified.
